Bodyshop Alliance has been formed to bring the very best principles of vehicle accident repair to both Vehicle Repairers and Work Provision Customers with the aim of generating a step change in performance for the industry.
The vast majority of the overall costs of an accident claim are driven by the length of time the repair takes. For Repairers, the longer each repair takes, the more repairs are in progress on site at any one time which drives the need for larger sites, more courtesy cars, etc. For Work Provision Customers, the longer a repair takes, the more claims are open at any one time, which drives the need for more customer facing staff, more repairs needing to be managed by the engineers, more call centers, etc.
Bodyshop Alliance provides a solution which drastically cuts the overall cycle time of a repair and hence in one step can attack a lot of the waste costs in the entire chain. The solution can reduce the overall cost of a claim for Work Provision Customers by about one third, whilst at the same time increasing the revenue and profit for a Repairer.
The principle of the Bodyshop Alliance is to bring Vehicle Repairers and Work Provision Customers together in partnership to generate a win-win solution for everyone, which is in stark contrast to the win-lose or even lose-lose outcomes which are common from cost cutting approaches.
